(Government pays $75 *, Parents/guardians pay $165 per month, but can apply for additional subsidy **)

    * Alberta Government affordability grant of $75 per month per child is provided to licensed preschools, which allows us to reduce monthly fees by $75.

** A subsidy program is available for eligible families, potentially reducing monthly fees by an additional $125 (which would mean the parent portion would be $40 per month). Please review your eligibility and visit to complete your application. (see further information on bellow)

Note: If at any time the Alberta Government withdraws or cancels the affordability grant and/or subsidy program, parents/guardians will be responsible for covering these fees each month.

Snack is included with each class and is part of the monthly fee.

  • $75 non-refundable registration application fee is charged for all new students.

  • $50 non-refundable registration application fee is charged for returning students and/or their siblings.

  • Registration fee and monthly program fees can be paid by cash, cheque or e-transfer. If paying by cheque, please provide post-dated cheques payable to South Calgary Community Church. If paying by e-transfer, please send to and indicate “Preschool - (mm/yyyy)” in the message box.

Subsidy Information

A Child Care Subsidy is available through the Alberta Government to eligible families whose child is attending a licensed preschool facility.

To find out if your family is eligible, complete the online application here

Please note, it is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to apply for the subsidy and your application should be done so prior to commencing the program. Subsidy approval must be provided to South Calgary Community Preschool upon your child’s enrollment.

Parents are required to pay any fees not covered by the Government Subsidy Program on the 1st of each month. If the request for subsidy is denied, parents/guardians are responsible for paying the full cost of the preschool fees each month.

When it is time to renew the subsidy for the following year (if applicable), parents/guardians are responsible for renewing within 30 days of receiving their notice from the Alberta Government and providing the information to the Preschool upon renewal. Failure to do so will result in the parents/guardians being responsible for paying all preschool fees not covered while their child’s subsidy is expired.
